This video was filmed during the School of Oil Painting, where this painting was the subject of the Old Master (Flemish Method) workshop. It was filmed over a six-day period and shows every demonstration performed for the class. You can be a part of the workshop and paint along with me, just as the participants of the class did.

The package contains everything you need to understand and execute the project. Take advantage of this unique product to learn Old Master methods used to reproduce this popular painting, originally done by the great Victorian artist, John William Waterhouse

After the painting "I am Half-Sick of Shadows, said the Lady of Shalott", by John William Waterhouse. This painting represents one of the last that Waterhouse painted in exploring the literary poem "The Lady of Shalott."

The model is one he used over a period of two decades, and even though she has lost none of her youthful beauty, she is seen here as a woman in full maturity. Likewise, his art is explored in its maturity in this piece. His genius is revealed by the illusion he creates of quiet repose, on a canvas literally covered in brilliant color and exquisite detail.
