First, look at a photo, or a landscape and try to guess which note in the system you should use. Then put these on and you'll find how your eyes trick you.

I paint all my note paintings wearing these, and then I don't have to hold anything. Once I started painting with them I don't want to paint without them.

Unlike other red lenses, these glasses are specially created to remove all colors so you can see the notes, or values, in any scene or photo.

Once you look through these, you may be surprised how far off your perceived value notes were!

You'll want a pair for the studio and another if you paint outside.

Also, they offer 100% UV protection.

There is no question, these are valuable. Not only outside but also in studio, they helped get my values correct. I move them up away from my eyes and then drop them again over my eyes as I paint knowing where my values are.i do this several times as I paint.

The value specs work great! They really give me a clear indication of relative values, no matter the color. They have been very helpful, and I would recommend them.

Confirms tones fast.

As a set_in_stone dyslexic, I have to constantly check I’ve not switched my intended choices. I especially love they are glasses, which can sit on my head, rather than a card which will inevitably be out of reach. When outside, this part of seeing more accurately becomes no more than sliding them on.

So far so good. Seems to help me see value.
