Format
Video Length: 1 Hour 37 Minutes

Eyes are one of the most complicated part of the human face but also one of the most important for realistic portraits.

Join artist Maureen Killaby as she shows you how to create pale, medium and dark eyes. This drawing workshop also shows you that with a few simple strokes, you can create realistic hair of all sorts including straight, curly, and coarse hair.

During the course, Killaby clearly explain the tools she’s using and shows you pencil drawing techniques for hatching, shading, drawing with an eraser, pulling out highlights and more for realistic renderings of hair and eyes.

Please note: This workshop focuses on hair & eyes and Killaby does not finish a completed portrait during the lessons. She also does not do a stand-alone chapter on her materials specifically. She does, however, do a great job explaining exactly what tool (lead softness, blending tool, etc) she’s using while she’s working.
